Vornado will compete against New York firms for the right to build a new casino at the Hotel Pennsylvania.

The second-largest commercial landlord in New York, Vornado Realty Trust, is debating whether to submit a bid for the casino license at the site of the Hotel Pennsylvania near Madison Square Garden. The hotel will soon be demolished, and the real estate firm is ready to enter the fierce competition for the property in the city. On February 3, the first round of queries from potential bidders are due. Each question will cost $1 million.
